Best of Acadia Retreat

College of the Atlantic and Acadia Senior College invite you to participate in an outstanding five-day adventure of learning and recreation on the beautiful coast of Maine in Bar Harbor.
Based on the College’s waterfront campus, the residential summer program offers stimulating lectures, including a talk by former US Senator George Mitchell, excellent local cuisine in community settings, and guided local outings exploring the best that Mount Desert Island has to offer: Acadia National Park, top-notch museums, renown gardens, and the spectacular seascapes of Frenchman Bay.
During the Best of Acadia Retreat, you will join other life-long learners and thoughtful citizens deeply interested in the world. The program host, Ted Koffman, a former Maine State Representative and retired Maine Audubon executive director, will facilitate daily activities and serve as your guide and assistant.
We hope you will join us for a unique program designed to engage your mind and refresh your spirit. Take time to reflect, share, and connect. Dare to be surprised. Prepare to be enlightened.
For more information please go to our website or contact Jean Sylvia at 207-801-5634. A weekly lecture pass is available for Acadia Senior College members by contacting (207) 288-9500
